This tutorial will introduce you to the About Me / Brokers widget.
The "About Me" page was automatically created and added to your menu when you installed the Buying Buddy app.
If you have a team or office Buying Buddy account, you can rename this page in the Editor to something more suitable.
If you do not want this page then you can remove it from the menu, but it cannot be deleted.
What's on this About Me page?
In the Editor, the About Me Page shows the following:
- The About Me / Brokers widget that displays your profile (or the Agent Index).
This widget will fill the space available. The layout adjusts to fit device screen sizes. - Buying Buddy account messages.
These are shown above the widget. Messages are only displayed in the editor, they do not appear on live published pages.
Update your Buying Buddy User Profile
The information displayed comes from your profile in your Buying Buddy account (not Wix).
To update this, go to your Buying Buddy account dashboard, then "Settings > My Profile and Preferences".
About Me / Brokers Widget Options
The presentation of this widget will automatically adjust depending on your Buying Buddy account.
- Agent Profile.
This is the initial (and only) view that is presented if you have a single-user Buying Buddy account - Agent Index.
This will be the initial view presented if you have a multi-user Buying Buddy account.
Viewing an agent from the index will then show the Agent Profile view.
The image below shows the Agent Index view.
