A preset search form has a filter applied that will display the search form with some preset search criteria.
This approach can be used when you want to add a search form to a neighborhood or niche landing page. In such cases, the search form can have the same preset criteria that is used on the landing page.
For example:
- Searching Distressed Homes
- Searching Homes with Mountain Views
- Searching within Office or Agent Listings
To Create a Preset Search Form
- Use the Wizard to create a search form with your required filter
- At the end of the wizard, use the methods provided to add the widget to your web page.
Example: Searching within Office or Agent Listings.
Although Agent ID and Office ID are not included as displayed fields on the standard search form widget, these values can be used in searches.
These values need to be passed as filters or, for example, as (hidden) values on custom search forms.
The results widget will then display matching properties and also a criteria badge for the passed value.

NOTE: A user may remove the criteria by clicking "New Search" or by deleting the displayed criteria.
