Leads can be imported to your Buying Buddy account by sending a specially-formatted email message that contains the lead details.
The message must be structured correctly.
To use this approach, you will either need to be able to create the required message structure directly, or you may need to use tools like Zapier to parse content and create the required message structure.
When the Buying Buddy system receives valid emails, Leads will be imported to your account and assigned to a User based on the User's Lead Import ID, or the User Referral ID or a Round Robin if specified in the email.
Why Use this Method?
This method for adding leads can be appropriate where you are able to capture lead details on a website and then process the lead data to be sent as an email elsewhere.
If you receive leads from other diverse sources, then you can also use this method with an intermediary step using tools like Zapier to create the structured messages.
Create Structured Message
Create a specially formatted ** PLAIN TEXT** message
Structure the data in your email exactly as described below.

The following block of options are all mandatory and must be present:

Send Email

Subject can be left blank - it will be disregarded
Body of email:
Add the structured message as plain text.
Invalid messages will be discarded.
Processing of Lead
After the email is sent, the processing of the lead can take up to 60 seconds.
- If the lead import is successful
You should see the new lead in your Buying Buddy account, and you should also receive a new lead notification alert. - If unsuccessful
You should receive an email from the system showing what the error is, and a copy of the lead import email you sent.
